I've only tried with the i386 version, but I don't see any reason why
you couldn't just take those instructions and change binary-i386 for
binary-amd64 or binary-powerpc in the directory structure?  Someone will
no doubt have an authoritative answer if need be. 

Remember also it's a wiki page that anyone can edit.  Click 'edit' and
you can log in with your name, ie. JohnLevin in your case.
