Calling for a Council to solve the "spatial nautilus change" issue

Hi all,

The behavior change that was recently introduced in spatial nautilus
seems to really be controversial. There has been a lot of discussion on
this list and on bugzilla [1].

I do not want to discuss pros and cons of the change here in term of
usability since we all know the world is divided between people who like
spatial nautilus and people who hate it :-) I think the main issue here
is from a release engineering point of view (Is it okay to change this
now, one week before the release? Is it okay to radically diverge from
upstream? etc.)

I do not wish to discuss these issues here since we might not reach a
decision. I'd like to see a Community Council to debate if this change
should be kept or removed for Hoary.

Is it possible to have a special Community Council to solve this issue?
