Epiphany vs. Firefox (Duck!)

So ... Epiphany vs. Firefox as the default.
I think there is no doubt in anyone's mind that both are excellent
browsers. I use Epiphany exclusively when in Gnome, and Firefox
exclusively when in Windows (during those unfortunate times :).
As Jeff pointed out in a post on footnotes, both packages are supported
so the user has the option of easily installing either. Under these
circumstances, it is my opinion that Epiphany should probably be the
default as it integrates with the desktop much better than Firefox at
this point, and is more on track with what most users need.
Using Firefox I've found a number of integration problems(ok 4 :) ...
I'll point them out here so others can make a more informed decision
about whether this merits Epiphany being the default:
'open file when downloading'

Very inconsistent with the Desktop. Looks like a bastardized windows
dialog.
'save as dialog'

One of the few apps in Ubuntu that doesn't use the newish fileselector.
Also note the graphical glitch in topright of dialog.
'open file dialog'

Again, doesn't use fileselector.
'customize toolbar'

This one is the worst :)
Note the graphical glitch in the bottom right (this is fixed by
resizing). Also, the address bar gets cleared in the browser, and
another addressbar gets added to the file menu?
Again let me emphasize that I think Firefox is an amazing browser, and
is a good choice for some people who want to utilize some of the
extensions available. I use Firefox quite a bit, but I feel at this
point, Epiphany integrates better with the Desktop, and therefore makes
a better candidate for the default that most people will experience when
they first boot Ubuntu.
Thoughts?
