The bootstrap-attempt build was done with:
  deb http://snapshot.debian.net/archive/2004/06/28/debian unstable main

in sources.list, and the following /etc/apt/preferences:
  Package: *
  Pin: release a=warty
  Pin-Priority: 1600

  Package: *
  Pin: release o=Debian
  Pin-Priority: 50

(June 28 was when warty froze Debian versions...)
