https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2389
The message is NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED and I have it here too. And it
has changed in release 1.1.20final+cvs20040330-4ubuntu14 or 15, because
I was able to print at:
I [05/Oct/2004:12:13:31 +0200] Job 9 queued on 'LaserJet-8000' by 'ondrej'.
but at:
E [11/Oct/2004:12:39:03 +0200] [Job 13] Connection failed with error NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
it was not working.
My printers.conf is:
<DefaultPrinter LaserJet-8000>
Info LaserJet-8000
DeviceURI smb://ondrej:xxx@GLOBE/wont.show.globe.cz/HP8000dn
State Idle
Accepting Yes
JobSheets none none
QuotaPeriod 0
PageLimit 0
KLimit 0
</Printer>
I had to write domain GLOBE into that file manually, because
gnome-cups-manager is not able to add domain to DeviceURI file (it's
more CUPS design bug) https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1370.
I think that #2389 should be fixed before Final Release.
Ondrej.
