System configuration tools exit on Wrong password

I run warty.
When I run one of the system configuration tools (like 
Computer/System_configuration/Time_and_Date in the gnome menu) and 
specify a wrong password, the applications waits for 5 seconds and exits 
with an unclear message.
Maybe it'd be more appropriate to display a "wrong password" message?

It took me a while to figure out I was giving a wrong password, because 
I tried to specify a root password. (Of course, when users just set up 
their installation they don't know about root and use their user:1000 
password as administrator... beautiful concept)
