While this is trivial and seems safe, it is not critical for Warty.  The
effect on hard disk power saving feature should be mostly mitigated by
laptop-mode anyway.

We are mere days from our final release, and now is not the time to make
tweaks like this.  Critical bugs are the order of the day, and everything
else can go into Hoary, where we can tweak (and break) as much as necessary
for a few months.

"But just this one more small feature" is a simple recipe for missing
release deadlines.
