Hello,
I give nautilus spacial view a chance (two weeks with only spatial
view).
The conclusion is maybe I'm quite lost for this kind of UI because
during theses weeks I often use the terminal
for every day file manipulation.
The fact is I just install rox filer http://rox.sourceforge.net. Ok,
default icons are ugly and gnome integration is quite minimal but, for
me, it has the wonderful advantage to be simple (without bloated
behaviour or ctrl+shift+double clic). Also, it has many goods ideas
(auto-resize, broken UTF-8 handling, simples shortcut, preventive
shortcut for single clic browsing, etc.)

I prefer a plugin that show me if a link leads to an external site and
let me choose if I want a want a new window/tab or not. Ok, I do not
know how to easily show this information without breaking website
layout.

Maybe because you do not have to read two or more html pages at the same
time. For file manager you can't have tab if you want drag'n drop.
