Which is more than just a little annoying:
$ locate foo
warning: locate: could not open database: /var/lib/slocate/slocate.db: No such file or directory
This machine is installed for over a month now. Sometimes I even stay
up until 3 am, but still it seems that cron.daily was not ever
executed on my machine. 6:25 is just not a very good time for hacking
for me, and I doubt that it is an overly productive time for many
other folks, too :-/
Conclusion: we need anacron :-)
