Epiphany vs. Firefox (Duck!)

I have slow PC (dual Celerons, @2x450Mhz, 256MB RAM).
Firefox is much slower then Epiphany, not in rendering pages but
opening menus and working with GUI elements.
Epiphany is good default browser, with limited features, follows HIG,
fits in rest of Gnome, reminds me of NetPositive on BeOS, nice and
clean.
So, for us with slower hardware, there is no real choice.
Similar situation is with Word processor in Gnome. Abiword is better
integrated, uses gtk, fast, but Oo is has more features, no gtk, slower
but more powerfull. But, Abiword is Gnome's word processor.
