I don't think it's "please make my desktop work totally differently",
just a "please i want to see the previous menu tree until i feel ok to
use the current". You're saying that it's a minor change so i don't
see what's problem to support the previous hierarchy too.
You'll say that users feeling better to use warty' scheme don't need
upgrade a day after Hoary release, it's right but some of them will
want to see the new GNOME, OO, Gaim and other stuff upgraded and if it
doesn't hurt anyone the same menu hierarchy.
It's obvious that your opinion against it buried my idea, but ask the
users too. :)
