GUI Based Installer

I believe that ubuntu's installer is debian-installer, which will be
used in the next release of debian, and which will have multiple
frontends, including a graphical one that is being worked on.

You also can search the mailing lists to find out how ubuntu developers
will be working/using that feature in future releases.
