pulseaudio no audio

logged in as me on the desktop I can play audio no problems.

When I run a program as root with su (so as that user) - but run it as a
another user (me) I get no audio

su myuser -c "export DISPLAY=:0.0; totem movie.mov"

No sound...  How can I get sound this way ?
