GTX 650 TI OC -- PCIe 1x to 16x

Good day !

I have Ubuntu 20.04 installed on a desktop machine that has:Main PCIe 16x slot -- Nvidia Quadro K4000 ( 600 series: GK106)Second PCIe 16x slot -- GTX 650 ( 600 series: GK107)
I've purchased: GTX 650 TI OC ( 600 series: GK 106) and a Riser from 1x to 16x 
I want to get above video card working with riser for computation using BOINC platform.

Mention that first two are computing now.
Riser will be at my place only tomorrow.

Do you think it will work ?I've searched on web and some say it's computing for Folding at home, some say that quality of these risers are so bad that you have to try 2 or 3, and some say that system won't see video card.
