Regarding a newer version of OpenShot

OpenShot 2.4 is in Ubuntu 18.04 Alpha as openshot-qt.

Because of Ubuntu Stable Release Update policy, major new version of
software are generally not provided to stable releases of Ubuntu.

However, new versions can be provided as Snap or Flatpak apps if a
developer provides it in that format.

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS will be released in late April.
