Twinkle 1.4.2 VoIP client in ubuntu / xubuntu 14.04?

I would suggest you try and find a new VOIP client, as twinkle is dead
upstream and many depends are outdated.
Maybe also ask the people who have mentioned helping in
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=738469.
The best way to continue to use the GUI would be to make a PPA with the
packages that got removed, and whatever other changes are needed.
