If you do would you please make it optional - the install takes way too
long as it is!

I really think you developers do a wonderful job but you need to "get
out of the office" for a while and reassess where you're taking Ubuntu.

Me?  I'd opt for a 'net install' specific to every version that's
perhaps a bit more fleshed out than the present minimal install. That
would cut down the install time (counting updates) by an order of
magnitude.
