Samba and CTDB

Hi,

I spent some time setting up Samba and CTDB, following the standard
documentation. I've just stumbled across the Samba changelog.Debian,
which reveals that Samba in Ubuntu is specifically compiled with CTDB
support switched off.

However, this isn't revealed in any of the documentation for Samba or
CTDB in Ubuntu -- on the contrary, both claim that Samba supports CTDB.
I can even put clustering=Yes and ctdbd socket=... in my smb.conf
without complaint. Should I file a bug about this? Against which
package?

I realise that Samba isn't built against CTDB because CTDB is not in
main. I can't find a reason why this is the case, though -- just an
abandoned MIR (bug #497035).

	Dan.
