How can we run the default browser under Linux?

Ah! It's testing for a GNOME session (which I believe means GDM, even if
you're logged into KDE from GDM), and if there's one it's looking at:
sudo update-alternatives --config gnome-www-browser

Unfortunately, Firefox isn't in the list of options ><  Maybe you should
put
export BROWSER=x-www-browser
in your .bashrc?
