Hello Ubuntu Developer Discuss List!
I have written a specification which needs some guidance as I don't know
what to do next with it. (Links follow this email)
My specification is for the removal of Mono (and Tomboy and F-Spot) in the
default Ubuntu Desktop CD.

I was surprised to say the least of how this apparently has been the hot
topic of this month on this list.

Someone suggested we remove applications the other way, removing gThumb and
Sticky Notes.
gThumb is 8Mb and Sticky Notes is included in the package gnome-applets.

For those that think .NET/Mono is going to help bring developers to Ubuntu:
To a good programmer, languages are nothing more than tools and you can use
whatever language that is best for the job at hand. Learning a new language
is not something most good programmers fear.

Thank you for reading and your advise on my specification,
Bryan Quigley
