resolution issues

Hi all,
        Is there any fix for resolution issues as people are facing in the
short-term (Fiesty+1) or not? I have been having issues with the Live CD not
working, bug #106202, usplash not starting bug #105871. Can somebody look at
them & lemme know what to do. Sorry to be posting here.
