Desktop Weekly Summary

Hi all,

The desktop team weekly meeting happened today and you can find full logs

A quick summary follows:

Convergence Topics:
* Snappy desktop image booting on UEFI
* New Desktop Next rootfs is building:
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-cdimage/+livefs/ubuntu/wily/ubuntu-desktop-next/+build/29166
* W is running new Xmir


Everything else:
* Gtk source packages are refreshed along with some patches and the latest
Gtk Mir backend  work is merged into upstream Gtk.
* Didier was at the SDK sprint last week and has worked with the team to
log and get fixed a number of bugs.
* Ubuntu Make 0.8.1 released fixing Android NDK.
* Upstream overlay scrollbars being tested and themed for Ubuntu
* Chromium 43.0.2357.81 released into T, U, V, W imminently



I'm off for the next couple of weeks, Seb will be standing in for me.
