I wouldn't call it a "perfect fit", but that's one possibility.
Another is Ubuntu Software Center

The System Info panel shouldn't be in System Settings in the first
place. It isn't settings.

It should embed into the System Settings window on Ubuntu, and into
the Control Panel window on Windows.
