Hi all,
I'm happy working with Ubuntu community were every one help each other.
as you might already know we have a big problem with gnome-terminal vte
that makes any RTL text unreadable. just imagine getting apt-get messege
in a way you can never understand the same with listing home folder.
that caused some people to ask for the translation of packages showing
message in terminal to be deleted!
look here please for more information about the problem:
RTL (right to left) support in terminal (BiDi)
https://bugs.launchpad.net/vte/+bug/263822
on the other hand we have Mlterm Multi Lingual Terminal which support
even Japanese language.
I'm asking to allow mlterm to be installed by default with RTL locales
as the default terminal or even as a backup terminal if the first wasn't
possible.
at the launchpad vte bug Yaron stated that Debian installs mlterm by
default for the Hebrew locale.
this problem effects many languages such as Arabic ,Hebrew ,Persia and
Urdu and many other mentioned in the link below
