Spec 'Enhanced Preferred Applications Dialog' any comments?

Hi,

I haven't posted here before, so most of you probably won't know me. I'm
fairly new to contributing, so the spec might not be (excuse the pun),
up to spec.

I'm proposing that mime-type association be centralised in the
Preferences>Preferred Applications area, since that seems the natural
place that anyone would go to. This would, potentially, be useful for
everyone.
