Nautilus should use a background by default

Tastes differ I guess, because I really like a "naked" background,
while the stripes look dull to me. :-) I'm not a purist, the blank
white just looks clean and attractive to me.

I still wish subfolders would adopt the background of their nearest
parent folder, so different backgrounds could be used to aide spatial
orientation.
