Inkscape (was: Restoring the xsane menu item)

XSane is mandatory in menu.
I can't understand why it has been removed. 
If it is deleted, there will be a VFAQ (Very Frequently Asked Question)
in forums and lists.

About Inkscape, it would be nice to include it.
If Ubuntu includes a professional pixmap editor, it should include a
professinal vector editor.

Another application which could be include is Sound Coverter. Easy to
use, based on gstreamer and programmed using pyton and libglade. It
reads everything that gstreamer reads and write to ogg or flac
