Hello Desktop Lovers!

Bug Days are the best since sliced bread, right?

But we figured out a way to make life even more exciting; because what
do you do in the two weeks between Bug Days?

If you want to make Ubuntu's Desktop rock and keep the Desktop Team
active, head directly to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DesktopTeam/BugState

The plan is: apart from tackling all the incoming bugs, we're going to
go through the old bugs and make sure they're either rejected, they have
the right information, get fixed or are forwarded to the upstream
developers.

To show the rest of the Ubuntu world that we really mean it and that we
will manage this nicely, we picked one of our key packages and we will
clean it up as best as we can. From today (the 7th) until the 14th we're
going to work on nautilus, gnome-vfs, nautilus-cd-burner, libeel and
shared-mime-info.

I know we can make it and our bugs will be just fine by the end of this
week. Please help out to make this Bug-Week a blast and at the end of
next week, we'll all be experts in one of our Desktop's key
technologies.

We'll all hang out on either #ubuntu-desktop or #ubuntu-bugs and we're
happy to have you there too!

ROCK ON!
 Daniel
