Probiere es doch einfach aus und ändere die Zeile:
Option          "SHMConfig"             "on"

in:
Option          "SHMConfig"             "true"

Interessant könnte auch die Ausgabe von 'cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep
SHMConfig' vorher/nachher sein.
