Future of Ubuntu Discourse?

Hi Jorge,

I always saw Discourse as a discussion platform that never took off
although I'm not sure why that should be. I'm subscribed to three other
Discourse sites which seem to be using the platform very successfully
with many new posts each day.

May be Ubuntu Discourse arrived at the wrong time?

Personally I would always look for solutions to my problems at the
Ubuntu Forums which are long established but seemingly not always
recognised as an official source of help. For general discussions I
would also go to UF but you have indicated an alternative which I don't
subscribe to.

A rarely used forum or discussion site does not give the right
impression to any visitors that might arrive from time to time.

I occasionally post on Discourse but with clear evidence of non-use then
I readily support closing of the site but there should be a clear push
to use other *official* alternatives.
