First off, thanks so much for putting time into working on this theme.
I was finally able to carve out some time today to give it a try on a
couple of the sites I manage.
I went ahead and opened a few Issues on Github.
The first is when I tested on a site using the Thematic-based
light-wordpress-theme (see:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-community-webthemes/light-wordpress-theme):
"Unexpected placement and usage of WordPress link menus"
https://github.com/knomepasi/ubuntu-community-wordpress-theme/issues/6
I'd love to see some more folks who are currently using the
light-wordpress-theme test this out and see if they run into similar
issues, or could help track down what's related to this theme and
what's an artifact of using the Thematic-specific configurations
rather than built-in WordPress configurations.
The other two issues come from switching from a generic wordpress
theme, so no Thematic complications here.
"Custom link categories not shown"
https://github.com/knomepasi/ubuntu-community-wordpress-theme/issues/7
"Over-crowded footer"
https://github.com/knomepasi/ubuntu-community-wordpress-theme/issues/8
All of these may just be configuration-related, that I need to make
some adjustments in WordPress to make it behave like I want, but I'm
not sure how that's done, so documentation that steers me to what I
should specifically set up (widgets vs. link categories or something?)
would help.
