Both of these read like demands/ultimatums.  I would encourage all
involved to consider what each individually can proactive _offer_
to others in the *buntu community.[1]

_Offer_ in this case means just doing/trying without further prompting
and seeing how it is received (ie. "JFDI").  The aim being to
demonstrate willing engagement: not just to the corresponding $council
individuals, but to the wider *buntu community watching this and whom
this discourse affects greatly.
