[ Ubuntu-cm ] internet with camtel city phone

Hi ,

@lug.limbe: it is always nice to give your ubuntu version because solution
change fom version to version. I got serious problems to connect my usb-modem
(from O2 not Camtel, but i thinks it is the same or ?) with ubuntu 8.04, but with 8.10
all thing was OK.

hello,

i just sign in on your mailing list.

here in cameroon camtel offer internet with city phone which ist 
connected with usb to the computer.

i don't try long, but i don't find how to connect it with a linux 
machine. do you know how to do it. even if this technology from camtel 
seems me old, many people are so connected to internet, that why we 
should have an "ubuntu" solution.

any idea
