[Ubuntu-ch] Karmic Koala release party - planning

Hi all,

sorry for posting this only now, I am drowned in work since a few weeks.

Martin Gafner from Puzzle itc (http://www.puzzle.ch) in Bern has
kindly offered to host our next Release Party. Since the release date
is on October 29th, I suggest to organize the party roughly 2 weeks
after the release, so we can have CDs read by then.

The possible dates need to be discussed with Martin. I suggest the following:

Saturday 14th or Saturday 21st. Any other suggestions?

* Iris, could you provide a poster? We will need to work on a schedule
so we can include it in the poster.

* Martin, we would need a logo to be integrated in the poster


Since my workload is not really lower, I would need some help for the
organisation, especially the advertising! I will order the CDs ASAP
and propose to present the new Kubuntu and eventually Amarok (unless I
can convince Mark to do this himself, but he is always quite reluctant
to give presentations). The Wii in the hall might convince him
otherwise :)
