Hi Myriam and others,

I hope you will have a nice party even if you are not many. Also the
last time in Bern we were only a handful of people (hello Hassan) but
we made the best out of it. And some people will always join in in the
last minute.

So so, arranging release parties is not the only reason for this team
or mailing list. I am glad so many people are subscribed to the list
because they are interested in knowing what is going on, even if they
do not have time to participate much. Not everyone has the energy and
stamina that you demonstrate and that we truly appreciate.

Who is still interested...
I understand your frustration over the lack of interest. But if people
are not interested in coming, you can not really blame them. Having
people to show up out of bad consciousness would not be the right way
:)

Maybe a release party is not interesting for so many people after 10
Ubuntu releases. Should we think of something else? This team and list
is a way to share information, ideas and interests, and when someone
wants to do something that resonates with others there will be a
natural following. Each of us can or should think about, is there
something I would like to start or engage in if some others would
join? And if nobody reacts to my ideas, I should not be disappointed,
but just do it on my own or come up with something else.

I would have loved to come but I will be away this weekend :( To my
"excuse" I planned this long time before the RP planning.

Cheers,
Tormod
