Not true at all, I'm subscribed to the list and can post without restrictions.

Where did you get these informations from? It seems a bit strange to me, I 
never had this impression. GULL is a LinuxUserGroup (LUG) for the "Lake 
Geneva Region" and there are no restrictions of any kind to individuals for 
posting or attending meetings. The structure is absolutely identical to 
SL.org AFAIK.
