You didn't need the 2nd "cd", using "cd" without any parameters just puts
you back in your home folder.  But you're on the right track.

However, based on your email to Doug, it looks like you got it to work
earlier on in this adventure.  I see a installer_linux.sh in the list,
however I don't know for sure if it's the correct one.

"installer_linux.sh" is (I'm assuming) what we find inside of
"installer_linux.tar.gz"
(tar files are like packages of regular files, such as the .sh script
file.  A tar file can contain any number of other files, just they're
compressed and packaged in the tar "box".  you need to take the files out
of the box to use them).

So just to be sure, try this:

cd Downloads
tar xvzf installer_linux.tar.gz

Of course, <Enter> at the end of each line...
