Well I want to thank everyone for all the help in getting this router
working.I'm going with Ron's idea and will buy a WIFI  USB  gadget  and
thanks to the one that suggested I type "ifconfig" into terminal and that
says I really don't have wireless capability in the Vostro PC. The gadget
will let me get rid of at least one cable, that's a good step forward.
Amazing the help on here!  Many thanks to all.
