When I plug my Android phone into my computer there's a USB symbol in
the notification bar at the top of the phone's screen. When I pull down
the notification bar and press on the "USB Connected" message I seen the
USB Mass Storage screen, with a button that says "Turn on USB storage".
I click on that, and then two new locations appear in the computer's
file manager (my internal phone storage and my the external SD storage
card).
