wireless problems with Ubuntu 10.10

I don,t think there were any updates and the unit was not dropped and I
checked and rechecked the cables. The trouble is I cant isolate the problem
to either the D-link or the computer, I wish there was a way to be certain
which one is giving me this problem ?  Ray
