Ubuntu on mipsel

Hey list. I just posted a request on Launchpad.

It would be very nice if Ubuntu was available for mipsel hardware. It
is an emerging platform with powerful capabilities and a promising
future. We know that building most of the packages of a typical Ubuntu
installation is possible for mipsel, given that Ubuntu based
distributions like gNewSense do this already - albeit not as elegantly.
A good place to start might be by adding a mipsel target to the PPA
build farm.
