Ubuntu friendly netbooks

It's the SD card - no response at all when I mount it in the SD card slot.
It's a known bug, and the rebooting solution is the one others on the ubuntu
forums have recommended. I can't see any sign of the card using any of the
tricks I know before rebooting, but afterwards it shows up very nicely. No
biggy.
