Ubuntu friendly netbooks

This was a first for me. I bought a netbook with Windows 7. Popped an
external USB drive (since the netbook didn't have one), booted Ubuntu 9.10
and it installed, detected everything, the wireless cards, G3 features,
camera, fingerprint reader and so on.
But... yes, there's always a but, coming out of hibernation the keyboard
doesn't respond. The mouse works and the only way to get the keyboard back
is to close the session and log back in again.
The laptop is an Acer Aspire 1810TZ Special Olympic Edition.
11" LCD
250 GB drive
2 GB RAM
Pentium 1.3 GHz (SU4100)
6-cell Li-Ion battery
Weighs about 3 lbs.
Other than the keyboard issue when it hibernates, everything worked out of
the the box with zero configuration.
Andrew.
