Converting a non-profit (was Looking for new business oportunities)

We're looking at integrating a gift shop inventory/ordering/point of sale
system. I tried doing that in OOo Base and couldn't produce anything usable.
Filemaker comes with basic working examples of all these that the students
who've been taken on to do the work can start with.

I haven't tried Kexi yet. I'm installing it as I write.
