Printer

Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a new printer, do I need a model that is
compatible with Linux?  I have a HP printer and the CD that comes with it
says it's only compatible with Windows and Mac. I use Ubuntu 9.1. However
with Ubuntu I'm able to use all of the printer functions.  Thanks,  Ray
