video problem on Ubuntu.

Good morning,  It's Ray again,  this morning I took the time to go back on my other OS and check out all the videos available on Google using Firefox and everything works so well ! no buffering problems, fast, and decoding any types of videos, SO WHY CANT I DO THIS WITH UBUNTU ??? Its very frustrating, I have followed all of your great advise, downloaded the right programs, and added the VLC package. I have tried in firefox tools, the different programs one at a time and always with no results.  Im stumped !!
