Stupid Question #2

I accidentally seem to have broken my GUI. I was trying to get compiz
to work on my machine and in following directions I ended up screwing up
the system. So I decided to go in and delete the changes I made, but I
appear to have deleted openbox, in ~/.gnome2 I've tried reinstalling
Gnome using the synaptic package manager, but that doesn't seem to have
worked. Is there a simple way to reinstall it as an option on the
system? Kind of like reinstalling windows I'm hoping?

		Thanks,
