VOOLUME CONTROL PROBLEM

It's possible it could be a keyboard mapping issue or it could be that
it's using the wrong sound device all-together.  Lets find out which one
it is...    Right click on the speaker icons in your system tray (right
click on the volume control icon) and select mute, does the icon change
and do the speakers mute?
