booting problem 7.04

Hi All,
I'm using ubuntu studio 7.04
I loaded the nvida graphic card,now when I try to boot I get a "out of scan range" message.
Will I have to go in the boot setup to remove nvida?If so,how?
or will a reinstall of 7.04 be necessary.I have never done much with boot setup, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
