Numbers, doing a Number?

Hi:

I looked at the Original Jacket that came with the first Install CD when
I found it again. It
was 4.10. Then I ordered from Shippit some new ones because it was
damaged a bit. What arrived was 5.04. I played with it. Then I ordered
the Upgrade to that and 5-5.10 CD's came.

Here out in the Wilderness - Rim-boo, there are not many people playing
with
Linux. There was Perry that ran a server, at one of the Early Internet
Companies here, and he was the one that got me interested in Linux,
years
ago, out of our Computer club. Hey they all had 250 Mhz computers, and I
had a Donated 386 with 16 Megs of ram. They got me a new mother board. I
learned about PC's and stopped playing with my C-128.

Then we had a Ron, and he had run a little Business making Web
Sites, and he used Blender to make Animations with. He used Mandrake. He
wanted to be a Playwright, but his father would not let him, so when his
father died, he moved away to learn that, to the Gatineau.

Then another older person who worked for one of the early Adding Machine
Companies, retired to find out that the Pension Fund had been used as a
Slush Fund. So he started to buy up old computers, and fix them up to
sell, so he could have something of a Pension. I got him interested in
Linux - Ubuntu. Then he started to play with Simply Mepis. I had to
learn it all by myself for a long time. I had these problems for a long
while, and just came to this conclusion. Linux is not taught in Schools
here. It's Windows Land. I never learned about it in Schools. I'd
download little things to learn from the Wiki. Read very old books on
Linux. I'm on a pension Thousands of Dollars below the poverty line.

I had lots of headaches, for about 10 years and I needed hobbies to
focus on, and give me something of Focus. One of them was playing with
Linux.

My Doctor just gave me more Pills all the time. Some of my other hobbies
were finding out, about Headaches. Usually making an effort was all I
needed to exert, so I could find how something worked, and then I could
find the answers I needed to stop the headaches without taking pills.
Well with my own research, I found the answer to that.
The pills in part were causing the headaches. At the time "Medicine" did
not know about Rebound Headaches. I discovered that, on my own. One day
I stopped taking pills. A few days later the headaches stopped!

At times I wrote a little Newsletter, printed on an old Gestetener
Machine. Made the stencils with my C-64 and an old Rainbow Dot Matrix
Printer. I had some news to print about, but people wanted credentials.

When for the most part you are working all by yourself, it's easy to
make conclusions like this about Linux. It was just my experience with
Ubuntu that got me thinking this way.

The High Blood Pressure I have... Doctor told me to read this book, not
one thing in the book helped. I tried over the years about 70 things,
not one of them worked, but I didn't give up. Then I found something
that worked partially. Then I found something else that worked
partially. Then at about 82 things to try I found something that worked
a whole bunch. Now most of the time, I don't need to take the maximum
amount of medication anymore.

Hey I tell people about Ubuntu. The library, because they got Winders
too. Having a ton of problems with it. They are giving Ubuntu a try at
home. Who knows some day the Library might be running it.

The College here a few people are giving it a try. This list helped with
a few things. The Book I bought helped more, but it is an inch thick. I
found my Linux cheat sheet. All the Bash Commands, and syntax, so I just
plod away at it. Mostly on my own. Some of my other Hobbies are Making
Kefir, learning things about Continental Drift. Had this teacher in High
School, that got me interested in Glaciation. He talked about Gondwana
Land. I couldn't see how it worked at all. How Continents form under
oceans, rise above the sea, move about, and then return to the sea.
Gondwana Land Never Existed! It is more a continuous process. The shapes
of the land masses repeats. Billions of years apart from each other,
much like the IKEA Conveyor Belt. Humans have been here during all that
time. Things repeat! The Earth is a little bit older than what Science
thinks. They say 600 Billion years. Well if 600 billion years were one
second, then 600 trillion years of those seconds would be more like it.
The Galaxy has made several revolutions, thousands of them. The Earth
was there from very early on. As land masses emerge from the sea, people
start to live on them, Civilizations form, that repeat when that shape
of a Continent repeats. All the stuff you learn about it in School never
made sense to me. For 10 years I'd look at a topo map of the world every
evening, to find similarities, I found many of them, thousands of them.
Similar Shapes of land masses. So I came up with something different,
that makes sense to me.

Just like in Ayurveda things start in the Cold, under an Ocean. Then
slowly as the sea bottom fills up with Silt, the New land mass has a
shallower sea above it. Slowly it becomes Islands, like Polynesia for
instance. Then it rises more. Ocean currents make it look just like
there were Ice Ages, these haven't existed for a Billion years. The
land masses that bordered on these got broken away, as the new land
started on its journey towards the Equator, and changed Direction. All
the Era's that happened in the last 600 Billion years, to North America,
are happening right now, in the area where Continents form. New Oceans
are created as land masses get ripped apart from Tension in side them.
Eventually they slip back under the cold ice areas. Little pebbles are
picked up by Vortexes in the sea water and they slowly drill into the
rock, changing it back into silt, Ocean Currents carry the silt back to
the areas where continents are created. The silt is used in the process
of making New Continents Right NOW!

I know a little bit about Earthquakes too. They don't work anything
like, what Science thinks.

Ayurveda, something I studied on my own, to learn about how to get the
answers I needed to stop the headaches. Then I started to help people
with Crohn's Disease with what I learned, because I've had very intense
gut pain at time in the past, letting them know I was not a Doctor,
before hand. I've helped a few people with that, where Doctor's failed.
When you've studied these things for sometimes 25 years, you know a
little bit about them. I know a little bit about things. I developed a
way of just looking at the Iris, to get a very good idea about a
person's Heath Problems, and Diet, in something a bit more advanced than
Iridology.

Perhaps I've made a few Errors with that stuff, but it's sort of hard
doing things on your own, in an out of the box way. Can't talk that much
with other people, because it's over their heads if I do. I've made an
effort to Simplify things, and a few people in other lands like India,
looked up ancient details about other people writing papers about Eye
Colour, and what it means, while Europe was still living in Caves.

Scientific America, wanted to know what Post Doctoral Work I had done,
well none actually. I was trying to save some lives at one time, but
their superiority, got in the way. It was just a hobby. They laughed. It
would have been neat to talk with some of those people there, but it's
just me on my own.

Alfred!
